The PN8335 is a non-isolated buck converter for LED driver with active power factor correction with a 500V avalanche-rugged powerMOSFET, and HV Start circuit.
The PN8335 operates in the quasi-resonant mode to achieve high efficiency and reduce the powerMOSFET switching loss. With constant on time, high power factor is achieved.
PN8335 offers various protections includingcycle-by-cycle over current limiting (OCP), over voltage protection with latch (OVP), short circuit protection (SCP), and overtemperature correction (OTC), etc, to improve system performance.
